Bespoke tours for solo women travellers in Barcelona

The idea stems from my personal experience: I have travelled alone across different continents, often finding myself in situations where I had to handle unforeseen circumstances in unfamiliar cities, countries and cultures.

I think back to my journeys in the United States, from east to west, and how essential it was to have a precise organization to avoid getting lost in such a different reality from Europe.

I remember Moscow, with its unpredictable rules and the need to quickly find solutions to bureaucratic or logistical obstacles as I was organizing a luxury exhibition.

There were also delicate moments: in London, for example, I avoided dangerous situations that, with more awareness, I could have completely prevented.

In Johannesburg, the movements to meet clients required careful planning due to safety concerns.

And then Bogotá, a city where I spent long periods, for business reasons, during an important phase of my life. In fact, it was only once I landed that I realized the 2,600 meters of altitude could turn a normal pregnancy into a “high-risk” one.

It was a valuable lesson: there are details that can be overlooked, but which make all the difference.

I was lucky as I met people who made some of these solo trips easier.

I remember the sense of calm I felt in Japan when, for major events in Tokyo or business meetings in Fukuoka, Shimpei or Shuhei Tominaga were with me. They helped me understand crucial aspects of Japanese culture that turned out to be key for the success of some projects. I also think of Marga in Bogotá, who assisted me at the showroom but also accompanied me to clinic visits and helped me find a maternity clothing store that suited my needs.
